I live in Iowa with my husband, daughter, and two golden retrievers. We are embracing and enjoying the process of fixing up our first home, as well as learning more about parenthood by the minute with our passionate toddler in tow.
I am forever on my knees at Jesus’ feet, as He guides me through life, motherhood, and marriage. Against the Grain Blog was birthed after God asked me to quit my full-time job, and go “against the grain” I had been following in my life. This began and is still continued out of obedience to Him.
Against the Grain covers an array of topics ranging from motherhood and pregnancy to faith and DIY projects. My hope is to provide my readers with empowerment, encouragement, and community, through faith in Jesus, beauty, vulnerability, and authenticity.
